Scitech Soymate Training Programme conducted for Women Self-Help Groups in Jalgaon District, Maharashtra

Scitech Park, Pune supported by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and District Planning Committee, Jalgaon in association with National Rural Livelihood Mission, Jalgaon had conducted a one day training programme on “Supplementary Income Opportunities for Women Self-Help Groups based on Innovative Technology for Soy Milk and Allied Product Preparation” at District Planning Auditorium, Jalgaon on Tuesday, 31st October, 2017.

Training was conducted by Mr. Sanmati Shetgar, Science and Technology Park, Pune for the Women Self-Help Groups from Jalgaon District with Practical Demonstration on Handling, Operation and Maintenance of Portable Innovative Scitech Soymate Machine.

Approximately, 245 women from 25 Self-Help Groups attended the training programme. During the one day training programme Scitech Soymate Machines and certificates were distributed by Mr. Dinesh Wagh, District Planning Officer, Jalgaon, Ms. Priyanka Bokil, Assistant District Planning Officer, Jalgaon and Mr. Deshmukh, Police Inspector, Jalgaon. The innovative soymate machines are easy to operate, handy, efficient and require very little maintenance. This lightweight and cost effective machines can be carried from place to place and is an efficient mode for income generation among women self help groups.

Training Programme on Supplementary Income Opportunities for Women Self-Help Groups based on Innovative Technology for Soy milk and Allied Product preparation for Women Self Help Groups in Sangli District, Maharashtra

Scitech Park, Pune and District Planning Committee, Sangli in association with District Rural Development Agency, Sangli had conducted a one day training programme on Supplementary Income Opportunities for Women Self-Help Groups based on Innovative Technology for Soy milk and Allied Product preparation at The Rotary Silver Jubilee Trust Hall, Sangli on Friday, 09th March, 2018.

Hon’ble President Shri. Sangramsinha Deshmukh, Zilla Parishad, Sangli, Hon’ble CEO Shri. Abhijeet Raut, Zilla Parishad, Sangli, Shri. J.D. Mhetre, DPO, Zilla Parishad, Sangli, Shri. Ajay Kumar Mane, Project Director, DRDA, Zilla Parishad, Sangli and Smt. Priya Deshmukh, Account Officer, Zilla Parishad, Sangli were the dignitaries who were present for the training programme.

Training was conducted by Mr. Sanmati Shetgar, Science and Technology Park, Pune to Women Self-Help Groups from Sangli district with hands on demonstration on operation and maintenance of Scitech Soymate Machine.

Approximately 245 women from 25 Self-Help Groups attended the training programme. The Scitech Soymate machines and certificates were distributed by the dignitaries after the successful completion of the training programme.

Training for Development of Cluster for Soymilk and allied Products Preparation for Women Farmers at Osmanabad, Maharashtra

Scitech Park, Pune along with Mukul Madhav Foundation had conducted a training programme for 412 women farmers (100 widow and 312 women farmers) from Osmanabad on Soyamilk and allied products preparation with the help of innovative and portable Soymate Machine. This group of 412 women farmers from Osmanabad are being supported through several initiatives by Finolex Industries, FICCI FLO and Mukul Madhav Foundation.This training programme was conducted with an aim to develop a cluster for producing soyamilk and other allied products like tofu, soya sheera, soya chapatis, fortified and flavoured milk etc.Scitech Park team had conducted a  hands on training programme along with an interactive session with all the women farmers on 25th October 2019 at Osmanabad, Maharashtra.

Training Programme conducted by Scitech Park, Pune along with Tanishka Group-Sakal Foundation for 32 women from Self Help Groups on 25th February 2017

Training programme was conducted by Science and Technology Park, Pune along with Tanishka Group – Sakal Foundation for 32 women from self help groups on 25th February 2017.

The training was conducted to teach women entrepreneurs how to make LED strings popularly known as Diwali Lights. These LED strings can be put up for various occasions on different structures and for decoration purpose and vendors from the local markets can directly give orders to these women self help groups and they would supply the same which would act as a very good employment source for the women.
