Science and Technology Park, Pune with the support of Finolex Industries Ltd, Pune and its CSR partner Mukul Madhav Foundation, Pune has set up a small-scale dairy product manufacturing unit at Panawadi with 100 litres capacity per day for the Adarsh Mahila Bachatgat and the dairy farmers. Scitech Park has conducted extensive hands-on training programme for the members of the Adarsh Mahila Bachatgat, Panawadi on all the aspects of dairy product manufacturing, selling, costing, troubleshooting, accounts and finance, GMP, GHP, soft skills etc. The small-scale dairy product manufacturing unit at Panawadi was inaugurated on Wednesday, 8th March 2023 at Gram Panchayat office, Panawadi. M.H. Ansari and felicitated by the then President of India, Hon. Pratibha Patil at in 2008, felicitated with the Maharashtra Divyang Udyog Bhushan Award in 2016, at the hands of the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Hon. Shri. Devendra Fadnavis, he has also flagged off the ‘Mission Diabetes Free India’ campaign in association with Rashtrasant Bhaiyyu Maharaj and the “Sanskar Ayurved” in 2016, Shri. During the inaugural programme certificates were handed over to 15 members of Adrash Mahila Bachatgat who have successfully completed their training for the dairy unit. The dairy unit has been running with daily operations at Panawadi by the members of the Adarsh Mahila Bachatgat.
