Plantation Programme Phase II carried out with the support of FICCI FLO, Pune Chapter, on Wednesday, 21st December, 2021 at Panawadi

Aligned with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and as a part of Science and Technology Park’s ambitious mission of planting 50,000 fruit trees within next three years at Panawadi, the Phase II plantation programme was carried out with the support of FICCI FLO, Pune Chapter, on Wednesday, 22nd December, 2021 at Gat No. 1209 farmland near Babdev site at Panawadi. A total of 50 saplings of unique Singapore Wada and Ramchandra variety of Jack Fruit have been planted during the programme. These rare, grafted and red fleshed jackfruit varieties which will start fruiting within 3-5 years of its plantation.
